    1099 Independent Contractor – Delivery Route Driver

    Akron, OH | Dedicated Weekly Routes | Consistent Schedule

    We are looking for a dependable, professional 1099 independent contractor to handle scheduled delivery routes originating in Akron, Ohio.

    This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekly route work. Deliveries may include Boxes, Tools, IT equipment, Meters, and Other materials weighing up to 75 lbs.


    ROUTE 1 – AKRON, OH TO HOLMDEL, NJ AREA

    Monday & Tuesday

    Monday

    ·         Start in Akron, OH at approximately 3:30 PM

    ·         Complete scheduled deliveries/pickups along the route

    ·         Finish at approximately 2:30 AM

    ·         Overnight hotel stay near Holmdel, NJ

    Tuesday

    ·         Start at approximately 11:00 AM

    ·         Complete the return route

    ·         Arrive back in Akron at approximately 10:00 PM

    Hotel:[Company paid]


    ROUTE 2 – LOCAL/REGIONAL ROUTE

    Wednesday & Thursday

    ·         Starts in Akron, OH at approximately 3:30 PM

    ·         Finishes at approximately 11:00 PM

    ·         Route operates both Wednesday and Thursday

     

     

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE TRANSPORTING

    Typical deliveries include:

    ·         Boxes and packages

    ·         Tools and equipment

    ·         IT/computer equipment

    ·         Meters and related equipment

    ·         Items weighing up to 75 lbs.

    Drivers must be comfortable safely loading, unloading, and handling these items as required.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


    We are looking for someone who is:

    ·         Dependable and punctual

    ·         Comfortable driving longer distances

    ·         Able to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 75 lbs.

    ·         Professional when interacting with customers and delivery locations

    ·         Able to follow a scheduled route and meet delivery deadlines

    ·         Comfortable working independently

    ·         Available consistently for the assigned route days

    This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position.
