Job Description:
In this role you will work onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java and working the development pipeline.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Java based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use up-to-date tools CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory. Gradle, Maven.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
• Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
• Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.

Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.
Required Skills:
• Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of (4) years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience developing software using Java.
• Experience configuring builds using Gradle/Maven.
• Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines.
• Experience using Artifactory.
• Experience in the Command and Control Domain.
Desired Skills:
• Atlassian administration, specifically for Jira and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Conan package management.
• Experience scripting with Groovy.
