    Description

    COMSEC Manager
    Location: Aurora, CO
    Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph


    • Perform COMSEC custodian responsibilities in support of critical program needs.
    • Ensures the protection of classified information in support of a National Security programs
    • Safeguarding and accounting for classified COMSEC Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs)
    • Maintain COMSEC records
    • Provide COMSEC support specific to program needs
    • Analyze/review COMSEC Encryption device audits for user compliance and document results.
    • Enter and extract data from system for incoming and outgoing transactions for both physical and electronic COMSEC/Crypto material
    • Perform destruction of key material and documents in authorized COMSEC channels
    • Perform receipt, transfer, safeguarding, user training, and destruction activities
    • Order keying material, receive, in-process, and issue key material
    • Conduct semi-annual inventories of accountable COMSEC/ Cryptographic Material and account documents



    Requirements


    • Current, active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
    • Must be able to complete COMSEC training as required.
    • Familiar with the application government customer directives
    • Prior COMSEC experience.

    Desired Skills:

    • Familiarity working with numerous types of space/ground cryptographic assets
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while preforming multiple duties/tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to apply knowledge of government security requirements in a complex secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations
    • Understand systematic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
    • Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on clear and cogent presentation of complex information to a variety of diverse audiences
    • Knowledge and experience with classified programs
    • Ability to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with little oversight
    • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
