1 YR Limited Intervention Specialist

Description:

The district is seeking a qualified Intervention Specialist (PK5) for a one-year limited contract for the 20262027 school year. This position will begin the school year by covering a maternity leave for approximately the first 12 weeks, followed by a transition into a caseload management role serving students across the district's elementary buildings for the remainder of the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and objectives
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
• Manage and support a caseload of students across multiple elementary buildings following the maternity leave assignment
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (PK5 or equivalent)
• Knowledge of special education law and best practices
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple elementary settings
