    Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

    Location: Eastlake, OHWork Setting: Fully OnsiteTravel: Occasional travel to customer facilitiesPay: $21.00 / hr - $26.00 / hr

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and electrical control panels. This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to work from technical drawings, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and wire electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications.
    • Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fluid-system components.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics.
    • Drill, tap, mount, and verify components during equipment assembly.
    • Perform electrical testing, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and rework as needed.
    • Ensure completed assemblies meet applicable electrical and UL standards.
    • Maintain accurate production documentation and organized work areas.
    • Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
    • Assist with training and support other production areas when needed.
    • Follow all workplace safety procedures and electrical safety requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring electrical panels.
    • Electrical degree, technical certification, or equivalent training preferred.
    • Experience reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
    • Basic knowledge of UL standards and electrical codes.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude, organization, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Reliable attendance and ability to work fully onsite.
    • Ability to travel occasionally, including on short notice when required.
