Social Coordinator Responsibilities (Additional Assigned Duty)

• Consistently posts content within established timelines and in alignment with the Store Social Coordinator Brand Standards.
• Maintain assigned business profiles, ensuring category information, hours, location, and contact information are accurate, and respond to customer reviews on a consistent cadence. • Build and maintain a content calendar to plan posts in advance across platforms.
• Create and select content using corporate-approved templates, logos, and brand colors - never modifying or recreating brand assets.
• Rotate content across established pillars: new arrivals/product, staff picks, community/local tie-ins, store moments, promotions/events, and engagement content.
• Write in a brand-appropriate voice that reflects the assigned chain's tone (BAM/YOMO or 2nd & Charles) while allowing authentic local personality to come through.
• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages consistently and within business hours, prioritizing genuine engagement to build lasting community relationships.
• Recognize and immediately escalate any comment or message involving safety, legal exposure, HR-sensitive allegations, or media/influencer inquiries to the General Manager or Manager on Duty - never respond to these independently.

Bookseller Responsibilities

• Provides customers with the highest level of customer service by greeting each customer, communicating and assisting customers with questions and orders, and efficient cashiering.
• Sales of all products and promotion of point of sale initiatives including Membership programs, Magazine for Millionaires program, Educator programs, and other company-sponsored programs.
• Balances cash drawer following each register shift within allowable variances as identified in the Loss Prevention Policy. • Delivers and places product on the sales floor in accordance with merchandising guidelines and timelines.
• Recovers the sales floor during each shift, including, but not limited to picking up items, shelving books and product, straightening bookshelves and tables, and store housekeeping tasks as required.
• Protects company assets by adhering to all loss prevention standards and acting with integrity in all transactions.
• Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to assisting in other departments, receiving shipments, small fixture assembly and maintenance, assisting with inventory, and restroom cleanliness.
