    Job Summary:

    This on-site/in-building position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance projects in our 200,000 sq ft facility located in Augusta, Maine and will directly report to our Facilities Manager.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform maintenance, service and repair to our refrigeration system, HVAC, Dock Doors, Loading Plates and Material Handling Equipment
    • Assists with general construction, plumbing, electrical and painting projects
    • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
    • Must be proficient with Computers, ability to read blueprints and have basic math skills
    • Able to respond to off hours emergencies when necessary
    • Responsible for maintenance of warehouse racking
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 6-12 months maintenance experience
    • Mechanically inclined to fix dock plates, garage doors, pallet jacks and operate industrial tools
    • Ability to do general carpentry repairs and painting of walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
    • Computer skills to work with PO's, work orders, read blueprints and process flows
    • Must be able to use ladders, powered lifts
    • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and lesser weight regularly

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1 year+ maintenance experience
    • Electrical experience
    • Safety background/OSHA specific training
    • HVAC experience
    • Welding experience
    • Experience running a team or project to a successful completion
