    • This position is Florida based.
    • 50% travel expectation

    The VP of Regional HR position will perform the following duties:

    • Administering human resources policies, programs and practices: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing.
    • Carries out responsibilities in some or all functional areas: associate relations, training, employment, affirmative action and employment equity programs.

    Major Functional Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement regional HR strategies that align with corporate objectives and local business needs.
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce development across the region.
    • Ensure consistent handling of employee issues, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
    • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements within the region.
    • Support regional leaders in implementing performance review processes and coaching strategies.
    • Lead change management, culture-building, and leadership development initiatives.
    • Manage regional HR processes including payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems in coordination with corporate teams.
    • Promote inclusive practices and support diversity initiatives tailored to regional demographics.
    • Oversee regional HR budgets and resource allocation to support strategic goals.
    • Act as a strategic partner to regional executives, providing HR insights and solutions to drive business performance.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree or Equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field.

    15+ years of related Human Resources Experience

    • Progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in multi-site or regional environments.
    • Proven success in strategic HR planning, employee relations, and talent development.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
    • Ability to manage change, drive culture initiatives, and influence senior stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master's Degree/MBA Human Resources or related field.

    • Integration and alignment work experience
    • Foodservice, Distribution, Manufacturing or related industry experience
    • Certifications in SPH, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
