Job Overview The Well Planner II supports the development of well plans and engineering designs to enable safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations. The role works closely with senior engineers, drilling teams, and clients to contribute to well design, planning activities, and operational execution.Responsibilities Assist in the development of well plans, including trajectories, drilling programsPerform basic to intermediate engineering calculations (e.g., hydraulics, torque & drag)Support the operational schedulesAnalyze offset well data to support planning and optimizationCollaborate with drilling supervisors and engineersIdentify potential risks and support mitigation planningEnsure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirementsPrepare technical documentation, End of Well Report, and well programsProvide support to ongoing drilling operations when requiredContribute to continuous improvement initiativesSkills Basic understanding of well planning and drilling engineering principlesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and develop in a technical environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, project-driven settingFamiliarity with engineering or drilling software is an advantageQualifications Bachelor's degree in petroleum/ Reservoir Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 1+ year of experience in drilling engineering, well planning, or related fieldBasic knowledge of drilling operations and well design concepts#J-18808-Ljbffr
