GbILS values its innovative thinking and service-oriented team who provide services for a variety of federal government and commercial clients.SummaryThe Warehouse Specialist will perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damagesRouting materials to prescribed storage locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with (IAW) prescribed storage methods.Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materialsExamining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damageRemoving material from storage and preparing it for shipmentPacking and repacking a variety of items such as industrial, electronic, aircraft and general parts, components, equipment, and other items including printed forms and publications that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.
