    What you'll do...

    Role summary:
    The Staff Software Engineer, Information Security, plays a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure software solutions aligned with business objectives. This position requires expertise in software architecture, continuous integration, and stakeholder management to ensure robust, high-availability systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to analyze requirements, mitigate risks, and drive innovation while maintaining compliance with quality and security standards. The engineer will lead efforts in coding, testing, and troubleshooting to deliver reliable products that meet evolving technical and business needs within a dynamic environment.
    About the team:
    This team specializes in designing, building, and scaling identity, authentication, and authorization solutions for agentic AI ecosystems. Focused on Non-Human Identity, the team develops AI identity control planes, identity governance, continuous authentication, risk-based access control, and adaptive authorization at a global scale. Leveraging expertise in software architecture, scalability, and stakeholder management, the team ensures secure and efficient identity services. Members collaborate to create robust, scalable systems that support evolving business needs while maintaining high standards of security and performance across complex environments.
    What you'll do:
    • Lead the design and implementation of services supporting agent identity, authentication, and authorization.
    • Deliver secure patterns for delegated authority, least privilege, and adaptive authorization for agentic workflows.
    • Implement governance controls to evaluate trust of an agentic workload at build and runtime.
    • Build automation for agent identity lifecycle, credential issuance/rotation, and governance controls.
    • Define and implement observability, auditing, and compliance controls for agent actions (telemetry, attribution, lineage).
    • Drive engineering best practices: secure coding, design reviews, and operational readiness.
    • Mentor engineers, contribute to technical planning, and influence standards across teams.
    • Partner with platform, product, and security teams to deliver secure AI capabilities for the organization end-to-end.

    What you'll bring:
    • 8+ years of software engineering experience building and operating enterprise-scale systems.
    • Understanding of identity, authentication, and authorization at enterprise scale.
    • Understanding of agentic AI architectures and NHI lifecycle management (provisioning, attestation, rotation, decommissioning).
    • Strong knowledge of cloud-native identity, workload identity, service-to-service auth, and API security.
    • Experience building,  operating distributed services with high reliability and strong security posture.
    • Automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) 
    •  Infrastructure/CI security fundamentals.
    • Strong system design, technical leadership, and cross-team communication skills.
    Preferred:
    • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP identity platforms and their workload identity primitives.
    • Experience with Kubernetes workload identity, service mesh, or distributed policy enforcement.
    • Experience building business-critical platforms in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail)

    Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
    Herndon, Virginia US-10710: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
