Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Staff Software Engineer - directly reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering. In this individual contributor role, you will play a key role in delivering high quality problem solving software with responsibilities including:
Enhancing existing web and mobile applications Creating new applications Implementing best practices Mentoring junior developers Adding new test cases Enhancing the CI/CD process for the front-end of mobile and web applications Building back end for front end services for these apps Documenting application flow and design And more.
What youll do:
This is a vital role with significant growth prospect. You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organization goals. Some of this roles key responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Mentoring junior engineers in best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies • Providing technical & architectural guidance and expertise to ensure the highest level of quality and performance in our front-end applications, both web and mobile • Enhancing usage, metrics, and logging details for data-driven decision making • Participating in support rotation and helping in troubleshooting and resolving any opportunities within the application in both Desktop and Mobile versions • Supporting CI/CD efforts, configuration, and enhancements • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our coding standards and practices • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve our front-end capabilities
What youll bring:
Some of the skills needed for this role are but not limited to:
• Expert level knowledge of React and React Native • Experience in NextJs, Typescript, Node.js • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX • Proficiency in designing and implementing reusable UI components • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes • Experience with authorization and authentication frameworks in implementing those into mobile and Web applications • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize application performance • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban • Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries, such as Jest or Enzyme • Strong understanding of accessibility principles and best practices for creating accessible UI components

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
