Software Engineer III

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team in Bentonville, AR. The successful candidate will participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects, troubleshoot business and production issues, and manage complex projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high-level design by partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information, performing root cause analysis, and developing solutions.
  • Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring solution sustainability.
  • Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues, and researching and identifying needed solutions.
  • Assist in providing guidance to small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects.

Requirements and Scoping Analysis

  • Take initiative to learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work.
  • Build scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), Testing, or any other process (as applicable).
  • Implement telemetry features as required independently.
  • Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to components/application during code development/configuration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
