What you'll do...

Role summary:The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Program Management leads strategic programs across the Ambient Supply Chain, focusing on Import, Sam’s Club, and NonMainland networks. This role drives capacity, infrastructure, automation, and capital initiatives from planning and approval through execution and go.live. By analyzing data and collaborating across stakeholders, the position advances goals related to sales, inventory, and profitability. The role provides leadership through coaching, mentoring, and performance management, fostering operational excellence while upholding company policies, ethics, and continuous improvement. The Senior Manager brings cross-functional teams together to accelerate decisions, manage risk, and deliver investments supporting network growth and evolving business priorities. About the team:The team leads Walmart’s supply chain Program Management Office (PMO) by delivering data-driven solutions that optimize capacity, capital, and network value. Collaborating across stakeholders, they enhance supply chain execution to ensure inventory profitability and alignment with strategic goals. Focused on continuous improvement, the team identifies and resolves constraints while promoting innovation and efficiency. They manage supplier and partner relationships, oversee performance, and support operational excellence. Leveraging leadership, communication, and project management skills, the team advances Walmart’s commitment to operational effectiveness and sustainable growth within a dynamic supply chain environment. What you'll do:
  • Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and resolve escalated issues.
  • Oversee supplier and external partner relationships, communicating expectations and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
  • Lead multiple concurrent programs across Import, Sam’s Club, and non-mainland supply chains from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate Operations, Engineering, Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Product/Tech, and other partners.
  • Develop proposals and business cases, manage risks and dependencies, and drive timely decisions.
  • Lead special projects addressing emerging network and business priorities.
What you'll bring:Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in supply chain strategy, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated skills in process improvement and performance management to optimize supply chain execution.
  • Proficiency in project management, including certification and application of lean methodologies.
