    Role summary:
    The Senior Director, Business Strategy, leads the development and execution of organizational vision and strategic plans by conducting comprehensive market analysis and defining performance metrics. This role oversees transformational change initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional business programs to enhance operational excellence. The position fosters talent development, mentorship, and succession planning while promoting integrity and ethical standards. Collaborating with key stakeholders, the Senior Director drives business results through data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering value to customers and associates.
    About the team:
    The team leads global channel partner management and technical onboarding to accelerate inventory growth and partner-enabled GMV across marketplaces. It scales account management functions while developing growth levers and best practices for global enablement. Collaborating closely with incentive, legal, and cross-functional partners, the team drives strategic prioritization and operational excellence. Focused on mentorship and talent development, it supports business operations through forecasting and relationship management. This group plays a key role in advancing Walmart’s business strategies by fostering strong partnerships and delivering measurable results aligned with organizational goals.
    What you'll do:
    • Lead the development and execution of organizational vision and strategic plans through comprehensive industry and market analysis.
    • Define and track key performance metrics, communicating progress and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Oversee transformational change initiatives, managing project plans from pilot to full execution and ensuring organizational adoption.
    • Drive process improvements by evaluating merchandising and operational performance, identifying barriers, and benchmarking competitors.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives impacting store and corporate processes, including business programs, communications, and training content.
    • Develop talent strategies, supporting recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning to build a skilled workforce.
    • Foster strong partnerships and stakeholder engagement to maximize business goal achievement.

    The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
