Walmart Connect is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director, Agency, API & Marketplace Partnerships to own the performance, growth, and strategic development of Walmart Connect's external demand channel ecosystem across Walmart Connect International and Sam's Club Connect. This leader will be accountable for the strategy, adoption, and business performance of Walmart Connect's primary external demand channels, including agency partnerships, API and technology partner ecosystems, and Marketplace demand channels (including China), with responsibility for driving advertiser acquisition, adoption, spend growth, auction demand, and revenue across Walmart Connect International and Sam's Club Connect in partnership with local, in-market partnership teams. Unlike a single-market partnership model, this role requires leadership across multiple international markets, business units, and operating models while working in a highly matrixed environment. Success depends on the ability to influence and align market leaders, GMs, Product, Engineering, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders with varying priorities while establishing scalable partnership frameworks that create consistency, visibility, and growth across the fragmented Walmart Connect International and Sam's Club Connect l andscape. Given the significant interdependencies across agency, API, technology partner, and Marketplace demand channels, this role provides unified leadership across the broader demand ecosystem to ensure coordinated go-to-market execution, consistent partner engagement, and alignment against common business objectives. Agencies, technology partners, and Marketplace platforms increasingly influence many of the same advertiser budgets, rely on shared product capabilities, and require coordinated enablement, planning, commercialization strategies, and measurement frameworks to maximize market impact across regions. Beyond channel leadership, this role owns the operating model for Walmart Connect's external demand ecosystem across Connect International and Sam's Club, including agency, API/technology partner, and Marketplace demand channels. This includes governance, prioritization, performance management, planning processes, commercialization standards, and cross-market execution. The Senior Director will balance investment, prioritization, and resource allocation across these demand channels to maximize advertiser adoption, auction demand, and revenue growth while ensuring local market priorities remain aligned with enterprise partnership objectives. The Senior Director will provide dotted-line leadership across regional in-market partnership resources, serve as the primary point of alignment across market GMs and leadership teams, and maintain executive alignment with US Partnerships leadership to ensure consistency in strategy, operating standards, partner engagement models, and long-term growth initiatives. Key Success Metrics & Outcomes Acquisition, activation, and growth of strategic agency and API partnerships that expand advertiser access and demand generation across WMC International and Sam's Club. Growth in advertiser demand, auction participation, spend, and revenue across WMC International and Sam's Club. Increased agency partner adoption and utilization of Walmart Connect advertising products. Growth in Marketplace-generated advertiser demand, spend, auction participation, and revenue, including strategic Marketplace relationships in China and other international markets. Increased integration and alignment across agency, API, technology partner, and Marketplace demand channels to maximize overall advertiser demand and revenue performance. Increased API partner adoption and utilization of Walmart Connect advertising products and capabilities. Increased share of media investment flowing through agency and API partner ecosystems. Establishment and adoption of common demand channel operating models, governance frameworks, planning processes, and partnership reporting across WMC International and Sam's Club. Improved visibility into partnership performance, product dependencies, roadmap priorities, and business forecasting. Improved alignment and prioritization across market leadership teams, US Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Commercial organizations. Accelerated adoption of new advertising capabilities through coordinated agency and API partner enablement strategies. Improved partner satisfaction, executive engagement, and strategic alignment with key agency holding companies and technology partners. What You''ll Do

  • Lead Walmart Connect's Agency, API, Technology Partner, and Marketplace partnership strategy across WMC International and Sam's Club Connect.
  • Own performance against key business outcomes including advertiser adoption, auction demand growth, partner adoption, revenue growth, and market-specific partnership objectives.
  • Define and evolve the operating model for demand channel partnerships across WMC International and Sam's Club.
  • Serve as the central coordination lead for agency and API partnerships, establishing scalable operational frameworks, governance models, planning processes, and performance tracking across markets.
  • Provide direct leadership for international API partners and dotted-line leadership across regional agency and API partnership resources.
  • Balance investment, prioritization, and resource allocation across agency and API demand channels to maximize advertiser adoption, auction demand, and revenue growth.
  • Drive operational consistency and standardization across partnership programs while balancing local market requirements with broader organizational priorities and operating standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of alignment across market leadership teams, GMs, and regional stakeholders to balance local business requirements with enterprise partnership objectives.
  • Partner closely with US Partnerships leadership to ensure alignment on strategy, partner engagement models, product integration priorities, and go-to-market execution.
  • Develop and maintain executive relationships with global holding companies, agencies, technology partners, platform providers, and strategic ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Measurement, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure partner requirements, integration priorities, market needs, and ecosystem requirements are visible, prioritized, and incorporated into roadmap, platform, and feature development planning.
  • Help e stablish centralized reporting, forecasting, planning, and business review mechanisms to improve visibility into partnership performance, priorities, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to scale automated advertising capabilities, API adoption, retail media innovation, and cross-market collaboration.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders, market leaders, GMs, and corporate leadership teams to drive business outcomes and organizational clarity.
  • Help shape long-term demand channel strategy, operating models, and organizational priorities as Walmart Connect expands across CONNECT International and Sam's Club. Partnership Ownership & TSS Alignment The Senior Director, Agency & API Partnerships owns partner strategy, partner performance, advertiser adoption, commercial growth, demand generation, partner governance, executive relationships, and business outcomes across agency and API ecosystems. This role is accountable for identifying growth opportunities, defining partner requirements, influencing product priorities, driving adoption strategies, and ensuring business objectives are achieved through partner channels. Technical onboarding, implementation support, integration consulting, technical enablement, activation support, and ongoing technical support activities will transition to the International & Sam's Club Technical Solutions Specialists (TSS) organization which will have dedicated headcount. Success requires close partnership between both functions to ensure a seamless experience from partner acquisition through activation, adoption, and scale.
