Role summary:
The Principal, Technical Program Manager leads the planning and execution of complex, large-scale technology programs, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and dependencies. This role requires expertise in program and risk management, technical design, and stakeholder communication to drive clarity and deliver measurable outcomes. The position involves overseeing system architecture discussions, managing cross-functional priorities, and implementing scalable processes to enhance operational excellence. The CTS Global Governance team leads enterprise-wide governance by managing complex, cross-functional programs with clear accountability and timely delivery. Operating at the intersection of technology, operations, and business, the team collaborates with product, engineering, and domain stakeholders to align priorities and optimize outcomes. They provide oversight across critical domains such as GSOC, Threat, Computer Vision, Legal, and Aviation, ensuring compliance and operational integrity. By standardizing frameworks and continuously improving processes, the team enables Walmart to operate securely, efficiently, and at scale across multiple organizations and geographies.
