    Position Summary...

    The (USA) Manager, Project Management leads multiple medium-scale projects by collaborating with stakeholders to develop and deliver effective solutions aligned with business objectives. This role involves managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and communication strategies to ensure successful execution and timely delivery. The manager fosters strong relationships with sponsors and teams, supports associate development through mentoring and training, and upholds company policies and ethical standards. By driving continuous improvement and promoting accountability, this position contributes to achieving strategic goals while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.

    About the team:
    The Strategy, Transformation & Analytics team leads Walmart Claims Services by turning strategy into actionable outcomes. Collaborating across functions, the team identifies opportunities, addresses complex challenges, and drives initiatives that improve operational efficiency and stakeholder experiences. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, process redesign, analytics, deployment, and change management. The team ensures smooth project execution from concept to impact, emphasizing strong partnerships and clear communication. Focused on leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, this group delivers sustainable improvements aligned with Walmart’s business objectives.

    What you'll do...

    • Develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and objectives.
    • Create and communicate detailed project plans and schedules to support timely delivery of initiatives.
    • Manage multiple medium-scale projects or workstreams, coordinating resources and resolving issues to meet goals.
    • Monitor project budgets, costs, and milestones, providing status updates and escalating changes as needed.
    • Lead and mentor team members by assigning duties, providing feedback, and fostering professional growth.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold standards of ethics and integrity throughout project execution.


    What you'll bring:

    • Proven experience managing multiple medium-scale projects or work streams using established project management methodologies.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, including building and maintaining relationships and effectively communicating project plans and status updates.
    • Expertise in developing and executing detailed project schedules to meet objectives and manage resources efficiently.
    • Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve project issues while ensuring alignment with business goals and budgets.
    • Excellent communication skills to engage teams and stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
    • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing associates to achieve high performance.
