Benefits Flexible hybrid work schedule (three days in the office, two days work from home)Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for both teammates and family membersCompetitive pay and performance incentivesFun, mission-focused, and collaborative team environmentCost‑saving and efficiency initiatives in travelDuties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary point‑of‑contact for travel planning with the travel management company on behalf of WWP staff and warriors.Provide high‑touch service and troubleshoot travel logistics and flight issues.Facilitate individual and group training covering travel policies, procedures, and operational and technical areas for the travel and events team.Monitor cost savings, provide oversight of travel specialists, and ensure consistent business processes.Respond immediately to crisis situations.Research and identify alternatives for air and ground transportation.Collaborate with regional office teammates to select cost‑effective transportation options.Inform and educate internal staff and warriors on appropriate travel practices.Perform compliance audits to ensure consistent standard operating procedures and vendor contracts.Utilize expense controls and identify cost‑saving opportunities to manage budget effectively.Collaborate with Event Planning teams to plan and manage group travel for WWP events.Facilitate communication among Travel & Events team and WWP teammates.Assist with special organizational projects such as coordinating the mission‑connect program.Coordinate with WWP's travel management company and track monthly travel expense reporting.Track travel costs for finance and auditing purposes, including gift‑in‑kind items such as airline certificates.Manage vendor relationships and identify new travel programs and partnerships.Attend required training and meetings, including orientation, leadership, and departmental huddles.Perform any related duties as assigned.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated understanding of the corporate travel industry.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.Demonstrated emotional intelligence; respond to sensitive matters with diplomacy and empathy.Good presentation skills and confidence presenting information to groups.Understanding of WWP programs and services for wounded warriors.Ability to travel in support of WWP programs and services.Ability to adapt to changing procedures, processes, and methods.High energy level, self‑starter, and willingness to take initiative.Commitment to personal and business ethics and conduct, guided by core values.Experience Five years of travel industry experience with an emphasis on corporate and group travel.Education Bachelor's degree in tourism, travel management, or a relevant field. Equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.Certifications & Licensure None. Certificate in Corporate Travel Execution (CCTE) is a preference.Work Environment & Physical Demands General office environment, temperature controlled. Standing for extended periods of time.
