Given its breadth of capabilities and strong customer relationships, we have substantial content on the aviation industry\'s most popular aircraft.Job Description The Tool Crib Tech receives, stores, sets up kits, and issues hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment used in manufacturing processes.Responsibilities Assembles kits of tools for specific jobs according to instructionsIssues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returnedPrepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipmentReceives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory from the tooling leadInspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisorsDelivers tools or equipment to workersMarks and identifies tools and equipmentMaintains order and cleanliness of tool cribFollows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications Preferred High school diplomaBasic MS Access, Excel, and keyboarding skillsPerform mathematical calculations using a calculator and a good understanding of the American standard decimal and fraction systemPhysical Demands Lifting up to 40 pounds repetitivelyClimbing ladders up to 3 feetStanding and walking throughout the workdayThe Tool Crib Tech works in the machine shop environment throughout the workday; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and vapor from coolant, etc.Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals may occurIndustry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy.Compliance Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.Why join Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar?
