Provides technical support by doing various analyses, computations, utilizing computers and AutoCAD software for the preparation of land descriptions, drawings, and sketches that will be used in securing rights to place company facilities on private and public lands.
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Basic knowledge of surveying techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of various surveying maps and deliverables. Basic knowledge of relevant computer application, such as CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting). Able to demonstrate and apply proficient skill with: AutoCAD and coordinate geometry software to produce scaled drawings ArcMap GIS software, field GPS and data collection devices Processing field data using Trimble Business Center Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word Basic knowledge of legal principals of real estate and land boundary law Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years experience required.
Able to provide a valid Texas Department of Transportation driver's license, present and maintain a safe driving record and to operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
