Contract: 6 months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) modernization initiatives. The TPM will support enterprise transformation programs across Data Delivery, AI/ML, Infrastructure, and Cross-Program Integration workstreams. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end program execution, governance, cross-functional collaboration, executive reporting, financial tracking, and agile delivery while partnering with engineering, infrastructure, product, and business stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Governance
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex GCP modernization programs.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, Steering Committee presentations, and KPI dashboards.
  • Monitor overall program health, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Drive governance meetings and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
Agile Delivery
  • Coordinate sprint planning, release planning, and quarterly planning activities.
  • Facilitate milestone reviews and Go/No-Go decisions for releases.
  • Ensure multiple Agile teams remain aligned on priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Track deliverables and ensure timely execution across teams.
RAID Management
  • Maintain Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks.
  • Manage issue resolution and escalation processes.
  • Track cross-program dependencies and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize delivery risks.
Financial & Resource Management
  • Monitor program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
  • Track actuals versus planned budgets and identify variances.
  • Support annual operating plan (AOP) budget management.
  • Coordinate resource planning across internal teams and external partners.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Partner with engineering, product, infrastructure, business, and executive leadership.
  • Present program status and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate activities with external vendors and delivery partners.
  • Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Continuous Improvement
  • Improve PMO processes, governance standards, reporting, and delivery methodologies.
  • Leverage AI productivity tools (Claude or similar) to enhance program management efficiency.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience leading large-scale technology programs.
  • Experience delivering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) modernization initiatives.
  • Strong technical operations experience supporting infrastructure, cloud platforms, or IT operations.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams across enterprise programs.
  • Expertise in program governance, executive reporting, and RAID management.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and financial tracking.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and large-scale program delivery.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Claude or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GCP technologies including BigQuery, Looker, Spanner, Kong AI Gateway, or GML frameworks.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML, Data Engineering, Analytics, or Business Intelligence modernization programs.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working within managed services (MSP) or large consulting environments.
  • Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
