Direct Hire Opportunity with Company BenefitsLocation : Dalton, GCompensation : $65,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experienceSchedule : OnsiteTravel : Minimal local travel between facilitiesSummaryTES Recruiting is partnering with a growing manufacturing company near Dalton, GA seeking a Supply Chain Improvement Manager to support inventory management, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across two manufacturing facilities.This role is ideal for someone with a strong supply chain or materials background who also has exposure to Lean Manufacturing and wants to continue growing their continuous improvement skillset. The position will initially focus heavily on inventory, materials flow, supplier communication, and ERP/MRP execution, while gradually taking on more Lean and operational improvement responsibilities over time.The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, process-oriented, and comfortable working closely with production, scheduling, suppliers, and plant leadership.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage raw material inventory and supplier communication across two facilitiesMonitor inventory accuracy, safety stock levels, lead times, and material availabilityCoordinate purchase orders, delivery updates, and material shortagesSupport ERP/MRP system usage and inventory management processesAnalyze operational and inventory data to identify improvement opportunitiesSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, root cause analysis, standard work, and waste reductionParticipate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activitiesWork cross-functionally with production, scheduling, warehouse, and leadership teams to improve operational performanceHelp develop sustainable processes and long-term operational improvementsQualifications3+ years of supply chain, materials, purchasing, inventory, or production planning experience in manufacturing preferredUnderstanding of inventory management fundamentals including inventory accuracy, safety stock, lead times, FIFO, and KanbanExperience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Axiom, Amtech, or similarStrong Excel and analytical skillsExposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement concepts preferredLean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification is a plusStrong communication skills and professional maturityHands‑on mindset with willingness to spend time on the production floorCorrugated, packaging, paper, or general manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.Why This Opportunity?Opportunity to grow both supply chain and Lean Manufacturing experienceHands‑on role with direct operational impactStrong long-term development potential within manufacturing operations and continuous improvementSupportive environment with mentorship and growth opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
