Participants work on‑site with their host company, on a 40‑hour work schedule equivalent to a full‑time role, and may be considered for a full‑time position upon completion. The program is open to all ranks and experience levels. Participants receive no additional compensation from Northrop Grumman, as they continue to receive military pay and benefits.Responsibilities for SkillBridge Program participation Northrop Grumman will work with the host company to provide the following:Work‑site on‑the‑job training in their role.Support a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week.Follow the program's goals, objectives, and outcomes.SkillBridge Program Goals Provide separating service‑members with job skills training in a professional setting during the final phase of their military service.SkillBridge Program Objectives Service members who complete the program will be highly trained, capable future employees aligned to Northrop Grumman's needs and prepared to meet the mission “Defining Possible” on Day 1.SkillBridge Program Outcome Offer service‑members a rewarding opportunity to join the Northrop Grumman team.SkillBridge Eligibility Has served at least 180 days on active duty.Is within 12 months of separation or retirement.Will receive an honorable discharge.Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.Has a written authorization from the Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in the chain of command) to participate in the program prior to start.Position: CCA and Power Supply Category Management Supply Chain Planning Specialist As part of the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Category Management Team, the specialist reports to the Category Manager and drives the supply base to provide consistently high‑quality parts on schedule to support our customers.This role is hybrid, based out of Linthicum, MD, Rolling Meadows, IL, or San Diego, CA.What You'll get to do Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management, including dock dates, need dates, contract dates, and program communications.Define and develop material strategy for on‑time supplier delivery.Proactively assess delivery risks and collaborate with Programs.Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, and expediting.Complete quarterly Supplier Assessments (SAMS), facilitate Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs), manage Supplier Management Plans, and Supplier Production Readiness Reviews.Analyze lead times and identify critical‑path procurements.Review requirements for non‑standard parts, analyze lead times, and identify critical‑path procurements.Analyze, aggregate, and prioritize supply/demand requirements.Develop relationships with supplier personnel for quick response.Basic Qualifications Associate's degree with minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business, or a closely related field; OR bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of experience in the same areas.US Citizenship (ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance).Preferred Qualifications Experience with team collaboration.Experience resolving problems with peers and customers.Experience in supplier manufacturing.Proficient in Microsoft applications.Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Benefits Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package encouraging growth and mutual success. The range is a general guideline; final offers consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
