Wasatch Photonics is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to serve as an integral part of the team that builds our next-generation Raman, spectroscopy, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) solutions. This is the engine room of our operation — keeping materials flowing accurately from the receiving dock to the production floor.Life at Wasatch Photonics revolves around our customers and our technology. This position is designed with a clear development path: a strong performer can grow into purchasing and planning responsibilities over time.This full‑time, non‑exempt (hourly) position is on‑site in Morrisville, NC and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.Primary Job Responsibilities Kit and stage materials for work orders in accordance with the production schedule, ensuring assembly teams have what they need, when they need itReceive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and part numbers against purchase orders and packing lists, and put away materials to stockPerform incoming inspection of received materials to documented acceptance criteria; identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material and route it to Quality for dispositionMaintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, reconciliation, and timely investigation of discrepanciesRecord receiving, inventory, and material movement transactions accurately and promptly in the ERP systemMaintain an organized, clean, and audit‑ready stockroom, including FIFO practices and proper labelingSupport work order issuance and track material shortages, flagging shortfalls to Purchasing and PlanningHandle and store optical components and sensitive materials in accordance with cleanliness, ESD, and handling proceduresSupport outbound shipping and packing activitiesCreate & receive customer returned material authorizations (RMAs)Coordinate daily with Production, Purchasing, and Quality to keep material flowing and resolve issues quicklyContribute to continuous improvement of stockroom, receiving, and inventory processesExperience/Qualifications High School degree or equivalent required, Two‑year secondary education preferredMinimum 1 year of experience in a stockroom, receiving, warehouse, kitting, or inventory role in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent hands‑on experience)Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and mechanical design files.Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with spreadsheetsAbility to create shipping and export documents via UPS, FedEx and DHL.Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependabilityAbility to stand, move about the production floor, and lift up to 25 lbsPreferred Qualifications Experience working in an ISO 9001 (or other regulated/quality‑driven) manufacturing environmentExperience with incoming inspection and basic measurement/inspection toolsExperience with an ERP/MRP system for inventory and receiving transactionsInterest in growing into future SCM roles, and willingness to pursue supply chain certification (ASCM/APICS CPIM)What We Offer We know that the best employees look for more than just a job.
