• Assist rehearsal and concert set-up and tear-down for SC music ensembles
• Creation of stage plots for various ensembles
• Assist Kinnison Hall tech team in setting up dress rehearsals and concerts

Reports To Charles Tarver Education/Qualifications

• Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
• Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
• Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of live performance in a theater or similar venue
• Knowledge of band and orchestral seating arrangements
• Efficient communication skills
• Ability to problem solve quickly under pressure

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Availability on weeknights and weekends

Job Duties

These are the job duties for required of the position.

Percentage of time 100% Responsibility/Duty

• Set up and tear down stage and rehearsal rooms
• Prepare stage plots
• Maintain the concert hall and rehearsal spaces for a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain inventory of chairs, stands, and instruments.
• Clear instrumental rooms on Fridays for cleaning
• Maintain a log of damaged instruments and equipment
