Support end-users of NWCCD and assist IT Staff. Tier 1 support. Facilitate internal and external entities with campus events.

Reports To Mark Naus, IT Technical Director Education/Qualifications

  • Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
  • Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Products
  • Familiarity with college student portal, student account activation and setup

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs

  • Answer all support helpdesk calls, 80%
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues, 5%
  • Support video conference courses and classrooms, 5%
  • Support on campus events, 5%
  • Assist IT staff with classroom/staff/faculty upgrades and updates 5%
