The Store Manager ensures that the store operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with company values and goalsSupervisory Responsibilities:Assistant Store ManagerDepartment ManagersEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service and ensure all staff uphold the same standardsResolve customer concerns and provide solutions that uphold customer satisfactionVerify weekly schedules to ensure departmental coverage that supports financial goalsConduct daily store walks to monitor safety, security, and presentationPrepare and distribute weekly reports (labor, gross profit, etc.) to track performance and identify opportunitiesPrepare for and lead weekly management meetings to review prior performance, discuss company initiatives, address challenges/opportunities, and encourage open communicationCollaborate with department managers to set quarterly financial goals and KPIs, including sales per labor hour, labor cost by department, cost of goods, weekly sales, and gross marginMaintain timely, professional communication with staff, customers, and vendorsMonitor inventory levels, organize stock, and ensure accurate reporting of product movementCompile and organize inventory data into accurate reportsEffectively utilize email, software platforms, and proprietary systems essential for store operationsFoster a culture of accountability by providing coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action, when necessary, in accordance with company policiesVisit competitor stores regularly to monitor trends and bring back ideas that enhance competitivenessSupport departmental staffing needs by assisting managers as required to ensure the store remains well-staffed and profitableEnsure compliance with safety, sanitation, and government regulationsMonitor staff performance, provide timely feedback, and complete annual performance evaluationsOversee store infrastructure and equipment, perform basic repairs and maintenance, arrange service and repairs as needed, and track equipment repairsParticipate in meetings with WCM leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders to represent the store's needs and opportunitiesAttend trade shows, educational programs, and networking events to remain current on industry best practicesBe available to take calls, address urgent issues, and visit the store outside of regular business hours if neededFlexibility to work beyond scheduled hours and days as needed to support business operationsDrive between WCM locations as neededRequirementsRequired Skills & Abilities:Strong multitasking, organizational, and leadership skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesAttention to detail with a focus on timely and accurate completion of tasksProficiency in Email, Microsoft Office Suite, and Retail management systemsKnowledge of retail operations, planning, sales, and merchandisingEducation and Experience:High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred3+ years retail management experience/5+ years management experience in related fieldServSafe/Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain onePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reachingPeriods of stationary desk workOccasional pushing, pulling, and squatting#J-18808-Ljbffr
