Salary Range: $41,216- 47,199 Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions. Work Location: On-site

Summary The Sports Information Professional is responsible for all aspects of media and sports information relating to University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) intercollegiate athletics. The Sports Information Professional will manage communications and media relations for assigned athletic programs, including writing press releases, producing publications, maintaining the athletics website, social media, and preserving historical records. This person will also coordinate game day operations, live-stream programming, and serve as the primary liaison with the NCAA and RMAC for statistics, awards, compliance, and other sports information responsibilities while completing additional departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in communications, sport management, athletic administration, business, marketing, or a related field. Must have prior experience in a role that included organizing, planning, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of communication, accuracy and confidentiality. Successful candidates must have experience working independently and collaboratively while effectively prioritizing and delegating daily responsibilities. A master's degree is preferred Previous experience in an athletic department or higher education preferred.
