Assists in providing oversight of organizational buildings, construction projects and equipment as assigned/directed to support Ridgeview Support Services Division.Job FunctionsCoordinates assigned areas of responsibility to ensure efficient and effective operations of assigned resources.Assists in development of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for assigned assets and systems; continuously improves maintenance practices, processes and documentation.Shares knowledge and best practices with other support staff related to assigned assets and systems.Shares industry and technology trends with internal stakeholders to support future asset design strategies.Works closely with Facilities Managers and Supervisors to support and optimize the lifecycle performance of various assets.Interacts with and supports internal IT staff on various infrastructure needs.Recommends ongoing opportunities for improvement for the management of buildings and equipment. Participates in the Departmental budget process for both Capital and Operational expenses.Coordinates assigned areas of responsibility for construction and minor renovation and relocation projects as directed.In conjunction with director and managers, proactively identifies, recommends, and acts upon improvement projects and opportunities through observation, data analysis, engagement with partners, and review of external impact factors and best practices.Demonstrates best practices and continuous improvement by following Lean principles.Demonstrates the ability to write and follow procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Facilities or Construction Management, HVAC, or EngineeringMust be at least 21 years old to meet Ridgeview's insurability requirements1+ years of Facilities Maintenance/Management experienceKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functionsAbility to adjust to new and changing prioritiesCapable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of basic computer functions and ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work autonomously and as a teamProfessional presence and effective interpersonal skillsGeneral understanding of buildings, critical systems, and other related systemsAbility to multi-task and prioritize work streamsAbility to read and interpret equipment and building blueprints, specifications and schematicsAbility to support and implement changes through leadership, communication, team building, and conflict resolution skillsGlobal approach to problem solving by seeking customer feedback through system wide thinkingAbility to prioritize a variety of work, work volumes and multiple tasksAbility to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned aboveLicense/CertificationsValid MN driver's licensePreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in Facility Maintenance/Management; Healthcare preferredCompensationMany factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
