Description
Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a contract SOX Audit Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and internal control policies. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50 to $60 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultations to control owners and process managers regarding SOX compliance and internal control policies
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to resolve audit findings promptly
- Document internal control processes and procedures through narratives and flowcharts
- Conduct security-focused IT risk assessments, addressing internal control needs without compromising efficiency
- Perform SOX walkthroughs and testing according to established frameworks
- Summarize test results, communicate control deficiencies to process owners, and provide remediation recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Proficiency in ERP systems, risk management, accounting, and analytical tools
- Ability to analyze internal control processes and identify trends
- Familiarity with IT frameworks
- Prior experience summarizing test results, maintaining SOX compliance consistency, and staying updated on regulatory guidelines
