We offer you the opportunity to grow in an environment where you will feel valued, have room for advancement, and be rewarded for your good work.We are currently looking for a Service Supervisor to join our on-site operations team to help support a positive experience for our residents.What are the responsibilities of a Service Supervisor?Manage maintenance staff by setting direction, priorities, and schedulesMaintain and execute a preventative maintenance program that minimizes emergency repairs and servicesMaintain community inventory, monitor purchase orders, and approve invoicesEnsure maintenance work orders are completed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safetyEnsure apartment units are ready for new move-ins by conducting inspection and quality controlMeet with team members on a regular basis to discuss strengths and development opportunitiesInterview and hire qualified candidates in conjunction with the Community ManagerTake initiative to work alongside the team as necessary to achieve goalsEvaluate and manage contractor projects upon completion to ensure high quality and contract complianceAbility to successfully perform and train the following technical skills: diagnosing and solving air conditioner and furnace issues, troubleshooting for ancillary services, advanced plumbing tasks, drywall replacement, appliance repair and installation, carpentry work, window installations, advanced electrical issues and thorough understanding of schematic and wiring diagrams, and installation and repair of ceramic tile and vinylMay be part of the on-call rotation as needed and available after-hours for emergency needsWhat are the role requirements?Previous leadership experience is required5+ years of experience in multi-family property maintenance is preferredMust have extensive knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and procedures and OSHA regulationsEPA certification is required (If you do not hold an EPA certification you are required to obtain it within 120 days of your start date via company paid training)HVAC experience is strongly preferredCPO Certification and pool chemistry and maintenance skills are preferredAbility to prioritize and delegate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentMust possess exceptional customer service and communication skillsMust possess excellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to use various technologies for online training and administrative purposesMust be willing to respond to emergencies after normal business hoursAble to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workersBasic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programsHave reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseWhat's in it for you?Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with company matchOn the job training and developmentGenerous paid time off programsCompetitive compensation plan with bonus opportunitiesGreat work environmentOpportunities for advancementDiscounted apartment homeGrow a Career with Edward Rose & Sons!Edward Rose & Sons is committed to career development for our team.
