You will identify service needs, prepare repair orders, recommend maintenance and repair services, communicate timelines, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a solid understanding of Honda and Acura service operations.Reports To: Service ManagerSchedule & Work RequirementsSchedule and work requirements may include full-time availability, weekday and Saturday scheduling as business needs require, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.QualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentStrong understanding of Honda and Acura maintenance schedules, warranty guidelines, service procedures, and repair recommendationsProven success in achieving high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scoresExperience selling maintenance, repair services, and manufacturer-recommended vehicle servicesKnowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, parts, and service operationsAbility to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and professional mannerStrong computer, writing, and organizational skillsStrong customer service and relationship-building abilitiesAuthorized to work in the United StatesValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to pass pre-employment background screening, drug testing, and MVR reviewMust be eligible for coverage under dealership insurance requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar dealership management softwareBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not requiredExperience working in a high-volume service departmentFollow all company policies and proceduresGreet customers promptly and professionallyListen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issuesPrepare repair orders and communicate customer concerns to techniciansRecommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle conditionObtain customer authorization for additional repairs and servicesProvide accurate estimates and repair timelinesMaintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair processCoordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure timely vehicle deliveryMaintain pricing integrity and adherence to dealership policiesAchieve manufacturer and dealership customer satisfaction goalsSupport departmental sales and gross profit objectivesEnsure repair orders are completed accurately and efficientlyMaintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and fellow team membersComply with all federal, state, local, and company regulationsAssist in creating an outstanding customer experience that promotes retention and repeat businessApply TodayTake your automotive career to the next level with Trust Automotive Group at Irvine Acura.
