Northrop Grumman Space Systems currently has an opening for a Verification Engineer. This position will be located in either Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • The engineer will perform requirements and system architecture analysis, derive test requirements, and develop detailed model-based test plans.
  • Model Based Systems Engineering with emphasis on UPDM, DODAF, and SysML
  • A collaborative environment requiring the engineer to work with architecture, product design, and test teams across all system functions
  • Problem resolution and process improvement recommendation
  • Occasional travel to Northrop Grumman and Government locations within the United States

Basic Qualifications:

  • Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with 2 years' experience; 0 years' experience with a Masters' degree
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Interface Engineering
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, approaches, and tools
  • Experience using requirements management tools
  • Exposure to the Agile methodology, particularly in a systems engineering domain
  • Ability to exemplify continuous learning and self-growth
  • Ability to effectively present results and challenges to engineering teams and technical leadership
  • Ability to comfortably work with geographically dispersed teams

Salary Range: $73,400.00 - $110,000.00
