About the RoleAs Senior Manager, Marketing Content Strategy, you will set the vision and direction for Kohl's seasonal and annual content strategy, ensuring product priorities, customer needs, and brand and campaign goals come together in highly relevant, customer-led storytelling. This role operates at an enterprise level, partnering closely with senior merchant and marketing leaders to align priorities, influence decision-making, and deliver long-term impact across the content marketing ecosystem. As a people leader and strategic connector, this role builds and develops high-performing teams while representing seasonal content strategy in key leadership forums.
What You'll Do- Build and lead seasonal and annual content strategies informed by customer, market, and industry insights, aligned to brand, campaign, and customer goals
- Set the vision and strategic focus for quarterly hindsight analyses, ensuring emphasis on the most impactful customer, industry, and marketing insights
- Partner closely with merchant and executive leadership to align on product strategies and business priorities, ensuring content amplifies the most critical initiatives
- Champion seasonal content strategy and category insights across marketing leadership and enterprise workstreams
- Partner closely with Marketing Strategy leaders, including Brand, Campaign, Promotions and Partnership teams, to ensure content is relevant, customer-led, and aligned to brand and campaign strategies
- Work with cross-functional leaders to ensure strategies can be executed as intended, proactively identifying and removing barriers to delivery
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing content marketing strategy team, providing mentorship, coaching, and clear direction
- Create development opportunities that strengthen both individual capability and overall team impact
- Participate in and manage complex, enterprise-level initiatives, representing seasonal content strategy perspectives and opportunities
- Act as a senior thought partner and connector across teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and shared accountability for customer outcomes
- Navigate ambiguous and complex business challenges, synthesizing insights, and articulating strategic implications supported by data and analysis
- Apply a strategic and innovative leadership approach, knowing when to step in or step back to challenge conventional thinking and drive team and business impact

What Skills You HaveRequired
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing, or a related field, preferably with enterprise or multi-channel exposure.
