The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the IMD accounting team, responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting and general accounting activities. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with the ability to multi-task across a broad scope of accounting functions — from month-end close and WIP reporting to financial analysis and audit support. This role works closely with the Controller, project managers, and business leadership to ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and decision-ready.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public or corporate accounting. Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting regulations, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; experience with construction-specific platforms a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CCIFP certification a plus.
• Hourly Range: $45.67 - $55.29/hr (depending on experience). This role is also eligible for an annual performance‑based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
