A Line Boutique is changing the traditional face of retail by focusing on solution-based styling services and a rich community of events inside and outside the store. Our driving cause is transparency and authenticity—we want women to try less and embrace their inherent beauty through fashion. This is about the power of transformation and empowerment that comes from well-styled, well-tailored garments; about self-expression; about building a community of support and celebration for women, their lives, and how they evolve. We've spent 14 years building a profitable, growing business. Now we're entering our next chapter: scaling. And scaling requires a leader who has already lived the job on the floor and is now ready to build, coach, and grow a team of stylists who can do the same. The RoleThis is not a desk job, and it's not a job for someone looking for a soft landing. The Sales Director is the person who takes a talented roster of individual stylists and turns them into a championship team—the way a coach takes a great sports team to the Olympics. You know what it takes to win individually because you've done it: you've been a stylist, you've built your own book of business, you've closed sales and kept clients coming back. Now you want to multiply that success through other people. You will own the full sales team lifecycle across all 4 A Line locations—sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, motivating, and holding your team accountable to real numbers. You are target-driven, deadline-driven, and comfortable being the one who sets the bar and enforces it with humility, with leadership, and with love for the people you're developing.90% of your time is on the floor—in stores, coaching, and directing your stylists in real time. 10% is spent with the executive management team, refining and elevating A Line's sales strategy. This role is based in Denver, CO, with regular travel to Salt Lake City, UT and Carlsbad, CA to work directly with local teams. What You'll OwnSource, interview, and hire new stylists—you'll run the interview process yourself and know how to spot the right talentBuild and own onboarding and training for every new hire, including 30/60/90-day scorecards, the stylist training manual, daily style logs, and supplemental training materialsSet stylist-level sales goals in partnership with the management team that ladder up to company-wide goalsLead a daily sales stand-up call across our multi-state teamAnalyze sales trends by customer, stylist, designer, and store—and report on them at weekly management, sales, buying, and strategy meetingsBuild and execute strategies for client acquisition and retentionOwn the customer database and the systems that maximize the full client lifecyclePartner with our CFO on store coverage, PTO, and time-off planningBuild out ongoing education strategy and run product knowledge quizzes alongside our buyerFeed real-time selling patterns and customer feedback into the buy—flagging missed opportunities in sizing, style, color, and trendCompensationThis is a performance-based role: base salary plus commission, tied directly to company sales and the achievement of your team's goals. There is no ceiling on what you can earn—the more you and your team grow, the more you make. If you're looking for a high, guaranteed base salary, this is not the role for you. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit—someone who wants to build something, be rewarded in direct proportion to what they contribute, and who sees uncapped upside as a feature, not a risk.Additional benefitsAnnual bonus tied to KPI and company goal achievement10 days PTO plus company holidays, with an additional 10 hours added at every work anniversaryComprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage401(k) eligibility after 1 year$1,000 store credit bonus on every work anniversary, up to $5,000 total from year 5 forwardWho Should ApplyYou've been a stylist. You've built your own book of business and proven you can sell. Now you want to lead—to take that same instinct for client relationships and sales, and use it to hire, train, and grow a team that performs at a higher level than any one person could alone. You lead with accountability and with love. You want to build something and be paid what it's worth. If that's not you—if you want a predictable paycheck and a lighter lift—this role will be the wrong fit, and we'd rather find that out now than three months in.How to ApplySkip the cover letter—we'd rather see you than read about you. Send us a video, 4 minutes max, answering the three questions below. Show us how you actually think, lead, and hold a team accountable, not how well you can write about it. If you can't submit the video, we won't be able to consider you for this role. What does it actually take to get a stylist to own their numbers and their clients—not just follow direction, but truly take responsibility for their own success? How would you build that on this team?A stylist accepted a return outside our 2-week return window and didn't leave any notes explaining why. Walk us through exactly what you'd do—the conversation you'd have with that stylist, and how you'd handle it if it happened again. If you had access to every stylist's sales numbers by category, designer, and client type, how would you actually use that data day to day—not just report on it, but use it to coach your team?Send it along with your resume and references to careers@alineboutique.com .#J-18808-Ljbffr
