The Store Manager is accountable for day‑to‑day store operations, leading and developing employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, and maximizing financial goals while managing customer relations. The Manager researches and analyzes financial statements to ensure targets are met and adjusts as necessary. Additional responsibilities include inventory control, asset protection, promotion of business, and marketing activities.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate a customer‑centric environment through friendly engagement and prompt issue resolution.Assist and train Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.Open and close the store, counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures are followed for asset protection.Maintain asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, store systems, and reporting.Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of all loans issued.Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.Communicate clearly with employees to convey store mission and profit objectives.Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge.Other related duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements & QualificationsWilling and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.Demonstrated ability to supervise others.Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.May be required to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.Minimum age: 18 years.High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.Capable of working multiple locations as business needs dictate.Must be flexible with retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.Store Managers typically work 45+ hours per week (not guaranteed).Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.Strong multitasking, organizational and analytical skills.Cash handling experience required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply!Commission Plan InformationStore Managers receive a commission based on the store's monthly gross profit.
