Position SummaryThe Prep Cook plays a vital role in the kitchen by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the culinary team in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in food preparation and kitchen organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, measuring, and portioning food items according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Assist with daily food production and setup for service.
- Label, date, and properly store food items following food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to kitchen management.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and quality standards.
- Assist line cooks and kitchen staff as needed during service.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment.

REQUIREMENTS- 2 years of previous prep cook, kitchen, or food service experience preferred
- Servsafe certification preferred
