    Recruiting And HR Manager

    Recruiting Duties

    • Develop and maintain long-term working relationships and communications with hiring managers and senior management to understand key business issues that may have a direct impact on current and future staffing needs and to establish requisition-specific staffing strategies in order to ensure that openings are filled according to hiring manager needs and expectations
    • Ensure that a comprehensive interviewing and assessment process is created for all roles
    • Facilitate debrief meetings with hiring managers in order to determine which candidates to pursue
    • Source leads and screen candidates to develop a pool of talent for open positions
    • Establish strong relationships with candidates to ensure they have a positive recruiting experience
    • Provide recruitment updates when necessary
    • Remain informed of information, research, trends, comps, and best practices
    • Recruit and interview potential applicants
    • Updates job requirements when needed
    • Contacts applicants' references and performs background checks required by the company for applicants
    • Maintains relevant background and certification compliance for various Membership Programs
    • Organizes and manages new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs

    HR Duties

    • Explains and provides information on employee benefits, programs, and education
    • Advise on benefits needs
    • Covers all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements
    • Maintains employee records and paperwork
    • Maintains robust employee development and review program
    • Coordinates and manages employee and department development targets
    • Process Company payroll with third party payroll provider
    • Represents employer in the community and recruiting events
    • Answers employee questions and addresses employee concerns with the company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
    • Manages committees on wellness, training, health, and safety, culture, and communications
    • Manages employee compensation plans and drives semi-annual performance reviews
    • Assists/conducts exit interviews and tracks trends. Tracks and maintains turnover reports and analysis
    • Compiles ad-hoc reports as needed
    • Creates and maintains employee recognition and reward program
    • Develops monthly calendar and assists with developing a Company newsletter
    • Assists Executive Team with administrative support

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of recruiting and human resources experience. Experience with recruiting sales positions preferred
    • Broad knowledge of sourcing strategies to produce a pipeline of outstanding talent and assessment/screening tools to identify potential candidates
    • Experience with applicant tracking systems
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent planning and time-management skills necessary to achieve business goals and increase efficiencies
    • Able to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
    • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and/or HR portal applications such as HR360, Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping
    • Organized and efficient in daily tasks
    • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred
    • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred (Human Resources, or related field)
