Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Quality Specialist II in Dallas, TX , where you will play a pivotal role in confirming the highest standards of quality and safety in construction projects. As a key representative of our client, you will oversee contract compliance, safety protocols, and quality assurance, confirming that all project deliverables meet the stringent requirements set forth by our clients and regulatory bodies. With a Bachelor's degree and over 4 years of experience, you will lead project teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and maintain detailed records of project progress.ResponsibilitiesMaintain professionalism in attire and communication at all times on-site and in meetingsRepresent the client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverablesReview construction contracts and prepare a written testing scheduleAddress safety concerns and prepare inspection reports to a level acceptable to the GovernmentMaintain accurate and detailed written records of project progress during all stages of constructionAssist in preparing safety reports and conduct construction testingConduct labor interviews to verify correct worker classification and wagesPerform periodic site walks for quality assurance, safety compliance, and project trackingCoordinate client outage/shutdown procedures and advise on construction work issuesConfirm adherence to safety protocols and address contractor safety concernsInspect workmanship, materials, and equipment for contract conformityLead project teams, assign tasks, and hold team members accountableMaintain a list of defects and omissions and monitor the safety programNotify leadership of test failures and plan corrective actionsPerform punchlist oversight and participate in zero defect walkthroughsReview and approve project reports and serve as the direct point of contact for the ownerQualificationsBA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred RequirementsConstruction Quality Manager CCQM or USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification preferred5 years of experience in quality control or construction managementExperience working on Data Centers.OSHA 10-Hour TrainingStrong understanding of construction contracts and safety regulationsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAdditional InformationSponsorship is not available for this positionRelocation is not available for this positionTo support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.Equal Opportunity EmployerAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we believe in your potential and are here to help you achieve it.
