Quality Control SpecialistLocation: North Little Rock, ArkansasDo you enjoy ensuring designs meet specified standards and exceeding client expectations and regulatory requirements? Our Federal Team at Garver is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to help ensure our design solutions exceed requirements and expectations.As part of the Federal Team, the Quality Control Specialist will assist in overseeing Garver's Federal Team's Total Quality Management Program, which supervises quality reviews of architecture and engineering deliverables including detailed design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of site and building projects throughout the United States.Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Organize and coordinate multi-discipline Quality Control ReviewsParticipating in the review of civil-related portions ofProject PlansProject specificationsDesign ReportsAssist with review of civil-related construction submittalsJoin design progress meetings for select projectsEnsure appropriate quality control procedures are followedMaintenance of appropriate documentation in accordance with project contract requirementsSome occasional travel may be required for industry-related conference attendance or project-specific meetings. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with other project team members and maintain a positive team attitude and interpersonal effectiveness in a team environment.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program20+ years of site/civil project experienceDetail-oriented and a team player with strong self-initiative to meet deadlinesStrong written and oral communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Some travel may be required with occasional overnight staysPreferred Skills:USACE and other DoD-type projectsConstruction observation and/or submittal reviews for site/civil-related projectsRegistered Professional EngineerGrow With UsGarver offers programs such as company-paid professional memberships, support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
