SUMMARYThe Quality Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting and ensuring the effectiveness of the company's quality management system. This role oversees internal audits, document control, corrective action implementation, audit preparedness, training content creation, and supports cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all customers and third-party audit standards (e.g., BRCGS, SQF).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInternal Audits & Audit ReadinessLead and conduct internal audits across all departments.Ensure the facility is prepared for all regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.Research standards and audit protocols to maintain full compliance.Document audit findings and communicate non-conformances to department supervisors and management.Corrective Action & CAPA ManagementCommunicate deficiencies to supervisors and verify corrective actions have been completed.Educate supervisors on documentation requirements and quality procedures.Lead CAPA verification meetings and track resolutions.Documentation ControlMaintain and organize controlled documents to ensure accuracy and version control.Create, revise, and retire documents as needed.Ensure that all documentation aligns with Production requirements, regulatory and audit requirements.Identify documentation deficiencies and follow up with departments to ensure timely corrections.Support the transition to digital document management systems.Training & DevelopmentDevelop training materials utilizing alchemy based on production requirements.Coordinating with department leads to deploy training effectively.Reporting & Continuous ImprovementAssist in creating and maintaining reports for quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance tracking.Provide data analysis support for continuous improvement initiatives.Signage & Visual AidsCreate and maintain Finished Product Sheets (FPS) and upload them into EPR, machine signage, and computer workstation signage to support production and quality standards.Sales & Customer SupportDraft letters and documentation required by the Sales team to support customer communication and compliance requests.Follow up Sales and Vigor VG for production runs occurring at EE Dallas and any additional paperwork needed for regulation and compliance.Other DutiesSupport management with additional tasks and projects assigned.REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)Basic understanding of quality systems, audits, or document controlProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and file organizationStrong attention to detail and time managementAbility to follow procedures and stay organizedGood communication skills (written and verbal)Willingness to learn BRCGS, SQF, and other quality standardsAble to work independently and with teamsComfortable handling paperwork, printing, scanning, and filingEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent (Required).2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Document Control, or Quality Systems within a manufacturing environmentExperience with Recycled Material Standard (RMS) or similar certification programsFood packaging, plastics manufacturing, or regulated manufacturing experience preferredExperience supporting SQF, BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or similar quality systems preferredWorking knowledge of HACCP principlesWorking knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Understanding of document control principlesExperience conducting internal auditsFamiliarity with corrective action processes (CAPA)Excellent Project Management skills.
