Talent Acquisition @ CBRE | Direct Line | Data Center SolutionsPOSITION SUMMARYThe Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst (QAQC) is responsible for managing and performing the daily QC responsibilities of specific CBRE | Direct Line (DL) projects to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the established standards. The QAQC role includes direct oversight and review of the entire project documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process, working with other in-house personnel (e.g.: Project Managers, Superintendents, Lead Techs etc.) and external personnel to produce and document a quality product.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core Duties & Responsibilities:Safety is DL number one Core Value. Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies.Promotes company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric cultureImplement the QA/QC management system at site to include but not limited to Cable Tray Routing, Conduit Installs, Cable Management, Rack and Cabinet Placement, Port Accuracy, Copper and Fiber Test Validation and AsbuiltsCoordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendorsCoordinate with the customer's representative on all quality mattersCoordinate all receipt inspectionsDistribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors if applicableVerify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standardsParticipate in the site internal and external site auditsCoordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectorsEnsure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for closeout handoverControl all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial actionCompete site quality control instructions and action remedial responsesReview the customer's specifications and undertake relevant training if neededMonitor the implementation of the approved site QC PlanComplete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customerCoordinate with the site project manager on all quality issuesCoordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractor's QC personnelElaborating inspection and test programsAssure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current statusPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:Associate's degree in Construction Management, Project Management or 5 years equal experienceBICSI Certifications (Technician, RTPM, or DCDC)BISCI RCDD preferredExperience:5 plus years' field experience in working in Commercial Construction5 plus years' field experience in working with Data Center Structure Cabling (Copper and Fiber)3 to 5 years' experience installing and testing Copper and Fiber1–2 years' experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud1-2 years' experience with Bluebeam Revu or CADKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skillsProficient in understanding Blueprints and Construction DocumentsExceptional analytical, problem-solving skills and decision makingTeamwork and versatility in integrating into multiple work environmentsAbility to work both independently as well as on teamsDemonstrated professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.Ability to train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.Demonstrated team building and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, including excellent customer service skills.Ability to present effectively to small and large groups.Disciplined, detail oriented, organized, and thorough self-starter.Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and issues.Strategic planning skills.Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and proceduresProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) Bluebeam Revu or CAD.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The standard work environment for this position is an indoor/outdoor Data Center and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance.
