Are you a "read the instructions" kind of person? Do you enjoy putting together puzzles and using your hands? Our assembler position will allow you to apply both traits while impacting the future of flight. You will be responsible for a key role in our process and ensure EH&S and quality standards are kept. Responsibilities would be in one or more of the following areas: sub-assembly, balancing, main assembly and packing of engines in the repair and overhaul area.
This position services our PW800 line, which is the newest engine model in our facility. You will work on our 5th shift, which is Friday-Sunday from 5pm-5am. Training may take place on another shift for up to 6 months before moving into 5th shift.
Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
