Compliance Assistant/Office Administration

OVERVIEW
American Assurance Corporation, based in Lakewood, Colorado, specializes in automotive products such as Vehicle Service Contracts and GAP insurance. We are searching for a motivated individual capable of multitasking, with excellent communication and time management skills. The Office Administrator will report to the C.F.O and be responsible for completing various compliance and administrative tasks, including reviewing and revising contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance in documentation, answering phones, responding to emails, preparing and maintaining records, and assisting with data entry and contract processing. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you should be proficient with computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat, and comfortable learning new systems as needed. The ideal candidate will be efficient, dependable, detail-oriented, and have excellent attendance, along with the ability to work independently, handle sensitive information with discretion, and provide professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the administration department
  • Assist with administering customer contracts.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance in documentation.
  • Send out email and letter correspondence.
  • Handle incoming calls from customers, dealers, and lienholders.
  • Perform basic office tasks such as filing, scanning, emailing, spreadsheet updating, and data entry.
  • Light bookkeeping.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks assigned by management and other duties as needed.
  • Serve as backup for other support roles, as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Be proficient with computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Be comfortable learning new systems as needed.
  • Self-starter and independent worker.
  • Professional and friendly attitude with strong communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to read and analyze data on policy forms.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Prior work experience in customer service is preferred.
  • A criminal background check may be required upon the offer of employment.

PAY RANGE
Starting salary: $50,000

HOURS
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
