In this role, you will be responsible for working with a variety of stakeholders to coordinate outbound shipments to both domestic and international locations, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, robust communication skills, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive our team's success in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high customer satisfaction.Key job responsibilitiesMonitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreementsHandle and pack sensitive shipments daily on tight delivery timelinesCommunicate important information to various stakeholders while managing tight timelines to ensure an on-time deliveryAccurately label dangerous goods for domestic and international shipmentsMaintain quality control and accuracy on shipping metricsCoordinate and improve upon current outbound shipping processesEnsure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usageMonitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasksCollaborate with cross-competent teams on process improvementsEnsure proper metrics tracking and record-keepingTroubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiencyBasic Qualificationshigh school diploma or equivalentExperience collaborating with cross-functional teamsCan lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distancesLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this positionStanding up to 8 hours a dayAbility to work flexible shift assignments, including overtime and weekends as required, in a high tempo operation environmentPreferred Qualifications1+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experienceExperience with JIRA and SAP/ERP systemsExperience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fieldsForklift certified and experience with other handling equipmentDetail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgencyFamiliar with Import and Export requirementsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
