Shift Details:

  • 8:45am-2:45pm Monday through Thursday and 8:45am-12:45pm on Fridays.
Occupational Therapist  Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to support students’ academic participation and daily functional skills.

  • Assess students’ abilities related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom activities.

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals.

  • Provide interventions to improve coordination, motor skills, independence, and participation in school activities.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and learning outcomes.

  • Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and strategies to improve student success.

  • Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.

  • Participate in student support meetings, evaluations, and individualized education planning.

  • Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and applicable professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in applicable state

  • American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Providers

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a hospital setting.

  • Additional certifications may be required.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
