We are seeking a motivated
.NET Developer to support a large-scale application modernization initiative. This contract position will focus on migrating legacy applications and services from
.NET Framework 4.x to .NET 6, with an emphasis on
C# development, API modernization, and SQL Server integration.

Compensation
- Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
Required Work Authorization

Responsibilities
- Assist with the migration of applications from .NET Framework 4.x to .NET 6
- Develop and maintain applications using C#
- Convert legacy ASP.NET WebForms applications to modern solutions
- Support the migration of WCF services to RESTful APIs
- Write, test, and debug code following established development standards
- Write SQL queries and interact with Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with development teams
- Perform functional testing to ensure quality and reliability
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience
- Experience programming in C#
- Knowledge of .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 6
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Understanding of software development best practices
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ASP.NET WebForms
- Experience with Blazor Server
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience working with WCF services
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
