Description

Role: .Net Developer

Location: Kansas City, MO

Client is seeking three experienced .NET Developers to support a major initiative focused on automating internal business processes and improving operational efficiencies. Due to significant growth in sales and new business, Client is investing in technology to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and build applications that can better support its expanding operations.

These positions will be primarily focused on backend development, leveraging C#/.NET 10, event-driven architecture, API development and integration, SOAP web services, and SQL Server. Developers will work closely with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, gather requirements, extract business logic, and translate those needs into scalable technical solutions.

These are hands-on development positions ideal for individuals who enjoy solving business problems, building backend applications, and helping organizations modernize and automate their operations. Client is looking for developers who can contribute to a growing team and make a meaningful impact on the company's ability to support its expanding business.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.
  • Strong experience with C#/.NET and backend application development.
  • Experience designing, building, and integrating APIs.
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience consuming and integrating SOAP web services.
  • Strong SQL Server experience, including database queries and data integration.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business logic into application functionality.
  • Experience developing solutions that automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Azure DevOps
  • React
  • Azure container technologies (particularly important for one of the three openings)
